Collaboration Case Study: Padanaram Outfitters
Padanaram Outfitters is one of the longest standing Whalerknits dealers and one very close to my heart as it's located in my (home) town, Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

A purveyor of apparel and accessories in the heart of Padanaram Village, this shop is well-curated with an upscale beachy, coastal vibe. The mix of knits, flannels, and technical gear for life on the water is well balanced with sunglasses, watches and other items that carry a hip but classy vibe.

A mix of navy blues and off whites is threaded through most of the in stock apparel, while the merchandising furniture is a mix of natural clear coated and white painted wood work. Pops of classic raincoat yellow and Nantucket Red highlight the racks of technical apparel, while wicker baskets and reclaimed wood boxes serve as displays. It feels like a perfectly-appointed beach house rental when you walk in the door with whales, yachts, and other nautical themed art throughout the store. You instantly feel like you’re at the coast and on vacation mode ready to shop.

I can't stress enough the quality of curation in this shop. Everything in the store wants to go home with you. It’s always the first place we stop when shopping for someone, to find just the right gift.

To be among the brands they choose to share with their loyal and repeat customers is an honor. To be featured prominently with our recent HOMETOWN collaboration is just truly special. With PADANARAM emblazoned across the chest of our Chatham Sweatshirt Jersey Pullover, this sweater is right at home among the other premium offerings throughout the store. Also, it's only available at Padanaram Outfitters at 321 Elm St, South Dartmouth, MA 02748.
Padanaram is a special place for those visiting the South Coast, with its town beaches, protected harbor, town band shell in the local park along the water, a thriving yacht club community, a handful of top notch restaurants, and the quaintest local coffee shop in the area (Scuttlebutt!). Padanaram Outfitters is THE destination shop in the village and is worth seeking out for a visit if you’re in the area.
