Runs larger than other sweaters from Whalerknits

I love theis sweater, but it feels almost a whole size larger than other sweaters from Whalerknits. I got this and a rollneck (both Mens Large), and I get compliments on both, but by wife says I am swimming in the 1/4 zip and hangs off my shoulders.

The perfect coastal warm up.

I’m not sure if it’s the natural white & Nantucket red colors or the soft woven fabric. This sweater feels like a decades old favorite, without looking worn out. So many compliments. I can’t keep my daughters away from grabbing and taking to outdoor beach bonfires or to get coffee on chilly mornings. My instinct is to buy more in every color!
