Also purchased the Wellfleet Rollneck Sweater and Sakonnet Birdseye Crewneck Pullover. This review applies to all three. While certainly not the worst quality, time will tell if these sweaters hold up to the wear and tear of repeated usage. I work outside and wear sweaters not just for style but comfort. They need to move and sweat with me without snagging and falling apart in the wash. They need to grow old gracefully with me. Quality clothing than can stand the tests of time will never grow out of style and will always be appealing to consumers if they believe they are not simply making a purchase but an investment statement. Barely been a month. While not dissatisfied also not ready to say I’m impressed. Ask for my review again in a year, in three, in five. Planned obsolescence will not make me repeat customer. Confidence in long term value will.

Comfortable

Great quality, very misleading color on outside ads

Everything about this sweater is great, the quality, the fit, everything... except that the Facebook ad I purchased this from, showed the sweater as a bright, bold red. When it arrived, it was a dusty rose color. WhalerKnit's website shows the color accurately, the Facebook ad dod not. I would not have purchased the sweater if that dusty rose color was in that ad.

Underwhelmed

Cotton is nice, design is fraud though, the sleeves are way too big and the overall shape is awkward. The sizing is completely off on sleeves, it seems as they put Large sleeves to a medium size knits. I was looking forward wearing this but did not put a smile on my face.

Perfect in every way

I’ve been looking for an American made boatneck sweater for some time, and I was elated to find this particular version. It most definitely did not disappoint, with great styling and impeccable construction.

I am blown away by the quality of this sweater. I'm a 5'6" 145# female and ordered a Large for a slouchy relaxed look. I think I could definitely do a Medium and still not be too tight. I usually struggle with sweaters because I have muscular arms and the sleeves are usually too snug, but since this one is unisex, the arms are a but more relaxed. It's SO soft and was actually thicker than I thought it would be. I was worried it would be delicate, but its definitely more of a medium weight and wears so nicely. I will absolutely be buying more colors, I think its fully worth the price point considering it's made in the US (and actually pretty local to me!)
