This purchase replaced a sweater my husband had for over thirty years, bought when he was traveling with a friend. He wore it thoroughly out, and bemoaned its demise for about three years before I found this almost identical sweater. The color is deep and rich, and the fit is perfect. For being on the water it is perfect

I love this sweater. It's my new favorite. Bought it for a boat trip to Nova Scotia, and ended up wearing it a LOT. I could have left most of my other tops at home, I wore it so much. I always wore it with a soft underlayer, so the fact that it's not buttery soft did not bother me. It is super warm, and just the perfect weight. As for sizing, I wore a medium. That's the size I wear in most sweaters and tops at large retailers, provided the shirt is not tightfitting around the waist. This sweater, as you can see, is made to be more fitted. I was surprised to find that despite the fitted look, I actually needed a medium. The medium fit as I expected-- beautifully. And it did not stick to my middle area, which was nice!

Knit is relatively tight which lends to its warmth. Great for long Midwestern fall and winter.

super cool design

The sweater is beautiful and so warm. Its a bit stiff when you first put it on but softens up quickly. I bought the XS, Im about 59 and 125lbs with broad shoulders and long arms. Its fits great through the body, I wouldve liked the arms a bit longer but I like my sleeves to fall past my wrists.
