Cuttyhunk
Cuttyhunk is our lighter shaker-knit cardigan: 7-gauge cotton or merino wool, slim fit, open-front body.
Filters
Cuttyhunk is the outermost Elizabeth Island: small, exposed, and closely tied to Buzzards Bay weather.
The Cuttyhunk Collection
The Cuttyhunk is the lighter shaker-knit cardigan in the Whalerknits line. It carries some of Newport’s texture, but in a lighter 7-gauge build and an open-front body.
Stitch and Gauge
Cuttyhunk uses 7-gauge shaker knit. Compared with the 4-gauge Newport, it is lighter and easier to layer while still having more texture than plain jersey.
Fiber and Fit
Knit in 100% cotton or merino wool depending on the run. Slim fit, cardigan body only, intended to wear open over a tee or buttoned when the temperature drops.

About Cuttyhunk

Why is Cuttyhunk a cardigan?
The open-front body works with the lighter shaker knit: easy over a tee, useful as a layer, and simple to button when the wind comes up.
