How Nantucket fits into the line
Choose Nantucket for stripes, rollnecks, and quarter-zips. Compare Newport if you want heavier shaker-knit texture. Compare Wellfleet if you want a heavier rollneck. Return to Whalerknits Sweaters to see the full sweater line.
Explore the line
Nantucket carries a long Atlantic history: offshore weather, gray shingles, working waterfronts, and a visual language built around restraint.
The Nantucket Collection
The Nantucket is the bolder striped sweater in the Whalerknits line. It keeps the familiar maritime stripe but uses our cotton jersey construction rather than costume or novelty styling.
Stitch and Gauge
Nantucket uses 7-gauge jersey, the same midweight base as Chatham and Westport. The stripe is wider than Westport, so the sweater reads more clearly as a maritime stripe from a distance.
Fiber and Fit
Knit in 100% cotton with a traditional fit. Neck styles vary by season, but the family shares the same gauge, stitch, and fabric character.
